Images broken links on backend

Hi Steven,
On one of my website (theatredelile.nc) the images from your panel on backends are broken and I can not find out where it is coming from...
(see screnshot joined)

Actually, the URL of the images are something like :
https://theatredelile.nc//media/coalaweb/components/generic/images/icons/icon-48-cw-support-v2.png
But should be
https://theatredelile.nc/media/coalaweb/components/generic/images/icons/icon-48-cw-support-v2.png
See the double "/" between the domain and the path...
Any idea how I could fix this ? (I have already tried a re-install of the extension).
Thanks in advance and ... regards ! :)

Hi it's been a while,

For the icons in the control panel I'm using the inbuilt Joomla method:

JURI::root()

Which should give me the root of the website which I then extend but I will run some tests and get back to you.

Thanks,

Hi again,

Can you try something for me on the system in question open up the following file:

administrator -> components -> com_coalawebsociallinks -> views -> controlpanel -> tmpl -> default.php

and find the lines with icon references such as :
<img alt="<?php echo JText::_('COM_CWSOCIALLINKS_TITLE_OPTIONS'); ?>" src="<?php echo JURI::root() ?>/media/coalaweb/components/generic/images/icons/icon-48-cw-options-v2.png" />

and change
JURI::root()

to
JURI::root(true)

then check to see if the icons display correctly.

Thanks,

Hi Steven, a pleasure to see ya again :-)
Sorry I have answered to the topic by email...
Your suggestion worked! So I guess I just have to repeat this operation on each image?

No problem I'm glad it worked and I will include the change in the next release but if you want a quick fix for now you can do the same to the other links.

Cheers,
