Hi,
Are the images that you wish to be displayed selected in your articles Images and Links tab:
Once you have assigned images with your article editor to either Intro Image or Full Article Image you can decided in the CoalaWeb News module settings which image you would like displayed.
This option can be found in the modules settings under the Images tab -> Image Type
Let me know if that solves your problem.

Great, I'm glad it's working.
Currently the Pro version has the option to limit Characters of both the Article and the next release has the Title as well
