[Solved] Email Cloaking Issue on Failed Captcha

Hi,

When inserting a CoalaWeb Contact form in an article using:

{loadposition contact-form}
etc and if an incorrect answer is entered for the Captcha challenge, the email cloaking plugin spews html in and around the email input field (see attached screen dump as an example).

This can be fixed in Extensions -> Plugin Manager by reordering the plugins so that "Content - Email Cloaking" is before "Content - Load Modules".

You're welcome!

[Solved] Email Cloaking Issue on Failed Captcha

Moderator

Hi Neil,

Thanks for sharing this great tip for any one else having this issue, I normally only have to ask users using the Pro version to re-order the CoalaWeb Contact plugin and the Email Cloak but now I will remember to check this situation too.

While we are on the subject let me recommend using the awesome free Email Protector by NoNumber. It stops loads of Javascript related issues plus it's a system plugin so it has a much wider reach when catching email addresses.

Cheers,

Steve
